Here is a unique however beautiful and somewhat rare example of genuine Amber in a 27" hand beaded & knotted necklace set with a 14kt spring ring clasp. The large Baltic Sea Lemon Amber  has small "bees or ancient insects" that were captured in tree sap resin that formed thousands of years ago! The smaller spacers are Butterscotch Amber which are also even more rare as I just can't find them in large sizes that is anywhere close to being affordable. The carved Amber pendant bead is also unique. In fact when the movie Jurassic Park and it's sequels hit the large screen this "rarely heard of bead" started becoming hugely popular. Now, it has turned out to be a status symbol in some circles! Just thought that I'd mention that as it is an organic "gem" like the pearl, coral and ivory,etc. as all are very light weight and easy to wear!
