Here is definitely an heirloom set in the making!  This weighty hand beaded & hand knotted necklace set made with a semi-precious metal called Pyrite ("fools gold").  It is striking and very unique.  The bronze luster Czech glass disks act as knobby accent spacers!  I couldn't use regular gold findings as this semi-precious metal has more of a bronze tone, so I selected a Satin matte Silver-plate lobster claw clasp and jump ring.  I used a silver-plate fish hook drop earring finding for the earrings. The round beads measure 16mm and the disks for the earrings measure 18mm.  I'm sure that you've heard of "Rose Gold" as well as "Green Gold" that are created when the ingredients of other metals are added into the mix, such as copper to create Rose Gold.  This Pyrite metal has a slight green cast making it lean towards a bronze look.  It is very expensive looking6
